A "Fur" Ever Love Story at The Oaks at Boerne | Chelsea + Ross | Wedding | Snap Chic Photography

Updated: Oct 2, 2019

Chelsea and Ross were married a The Oaks at Boerne, one of our absolute favorite venues in the Texas Hill Country! It was the most perfect September day, and despite a forecast full of rain, the sun peeked out just as the ceremony began giving us the most gorgeous light that peeked perfectly through the majestic oak trees. One of my favorite things about Chelsea and Ross's wedding day was the fact that they chose to include their Golden Retriever, Levi in almost every single part of their celebration. Fun fact, I had my dog in my own wedding, so let me just say, fur babies in weddings are pretty much my favorite thing on earth!

Keep on scrolling to see all of the beautiful details, the cutest first look, magical portraits, a first dance surrounded by guests with sparklers, and the most perfect night shot beneath the trees!

SO IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS. Beautiful bridal suite, cutest dog ever, SO MUCH HAPPY OVER HERE!

Evember Floral for the win on these bouquets! They really just made me so darn happy!

Chelsea looked absolutely stunning, and of course our good friends at Jax Studio absolutely slayed the hair and makeup for Chelsea and her #bridetribe!

Also, brides, take note, matching robes are the best, and provide for the cutest photos. These always make for some of my very favorite sets of images. SO PRECIOUS!

First looks are such a wonderful thing, it makes for such a sweet and private moment for the couple to just take it all in, and be alone together for a few short minutes before it all begins. I love that this trend is becoming more popular, about half of our couples do first looks and of those, 100% agree it was a great choice and one of their most cherished parts of their wedding day.

Levi's face though... I JUST CANNOT with all the cuteness!

After the first look, we did a few more wedding party photos! Typically we will do these after the ceremony, but the officiant got a a flat tire while in route to the wedding and was running a few minutes late, so we figured since Chelsea and Ross had already seen each other, we might as well make use of the extra time and knock out some more photos, ultimately getting them to their party much sooner after the ceremony! YAY for extra party time!

SO DAPPER! And how fab is this floral collar by Evember?!

We just loved everything about the details and personal touches from this wedding!

It was such a perfect ceremony under the most gorgeous oak trees in all of Texas!

I loved the simple floral and candles that they chose to use on their farm tables. One of the great things about The Oaks at Boerne is that you don't need much to really make it incredible!

And yes, in case you are wondering, this cake from Cakes & More tasted as good as it looked!

The reception was full of full of dancing, s'mores and lots of Aggie pride!

Chelsea and Ross had the first dance as husband and wife surrounded by all their guests with Sparklers? ALL THE PRETTY! Shout out to Dominic from At Last Entertainment for keeping the party rockin'! It was AWESOME!

Now that's what we call a "ring shot!"

And in true #snapchic fashion, we closed the night out with an epic night shot!

CONGRATULATIONS CHELSEA + ROSS! And a huge thank you to all the vendors who made this day so special.
